Apollo Bay GC- hole 1 wide
Apollo Bay Golf Club sits on precious land on the headland in the heart of the coastal village of Apollo Bay.
With majestic Norfolk pines framing the fairways and gorgoeus sea and mountain vistas from a number of holes, Apollo Bay is an idyllic location for any activity.
The nine golf course measures only 2120 from the back markers and is an easy walk.
Players are invited to play the nine holes twice and with the use of alternate tees on some holes and an alternate green on one hole (hole 4) the course does offer some variation for the two nines
The course boasts only 9 bunkers and perfect for holiday golf
Notable holes include:
- hole 1, a short par 3 from an elevated tee to an elevated green protected by two front bunkers (see pic top of page)
- hole 2, a short dogleg par 4 with maintenance shed very much in play for the approach

- hole 3, an interesting par 4 with alternate green sites. The left hand green is blind from the fairway and is protected by a dune right. It plays as hole 3, whereas the right green is in play for hole 12 and is a more straightforward approach

Apollo Bay is a rudimentary 9 hole golf course in a beautiful setting.
