ITINERARY 

Day 1

Arrive at Barcelona Airport and stay 3 nights in Barcelona, we recommend staying near the gothic or eixample quarters to be walking distance of the major attractions.

Day 2

Allow a day to acclimatise to the time zone and visit major attractions such as Gaudi’s masterpiece the ‘Sagrada Familia’ and wander through this vibrant city full of culture. Go back in time getting lost in the gothic old town. Experience Tapas at Ciudad Condal near Catalonia Square.

 

Day 3 

Play golf at Real Club de Golf el Prat (Pink Course). Barcelona’s No 1 course, a great conditioned championship course designed by Greg Norman with deep bunkers and fast greens. It has hosted the Spanish Open 10 times. 

If further sightseeing time permits, hike up the Cementiri de Montjuïc for great views, eat and drink like a local at ‘La Caseta del Migdia’, then wander down to see the spectacular National Art Museum of Catalonia.

 

 

Day 4

Drive 1 ½ hours from Barcelona to Costa Brava and stay in the cosy Tamariu. A small beachside town set in a cove with a lovely family friendly beach. 

 

Day 5

Play golf at Golf at PGA Catalunya (Stadium Course) A current European Tour course and no 1 course in Spain, this was designed to replicate the famous TPC Sawgrass Stadium course. A very fair and well-designed course with undulating fairways, it weaves its ways through the green fir trees.

For non-golfers there are beautiful a coastal walk ‘camins de Ronda’ of the Costa Brava that stretches 43kms from St. Feliu de Guíxols, through Tamarui to Begur.

Allow for a late afternoon swim and a relaxing dinner by the beach

Day 6

Drive 3 ¼ hours to Monpellier for a 1 night stopover and see the stylish metropolis with elegant buildings, grand hotels and stately boulevards.

 

Day 7

Your journey of the French Province begins. Wind your way through beautiful towns and villages such as L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Make you way to the prehistoric Bonnieux, walk the cobblestoned alleyways and see great views of the province.

 

Day 8

Experience the markets and vibrant centre of Aix-en-Provence for lunch before arriving at the luxurious Terre Blanche Resort for a 3-night stay.

 

Day 9

Play Golf at Terre Blache (Le Riou). Exclusive to members and resort guests only, the Riou course is considerably shorter than its sibling (Chataeu Course). Although, some suggest it may be even more challenging with its narrow tree lined fairways using the higher reaches of the hilly landscape.

Relax and enjoy the fabulous 5-star facilities on offer.

 

 

Day 10

Play Golf at Terre Blache (Chataeu Course). Rated 8 in France and currently a European tour venue, this course weaves itself well through the tree lined rolling hills, complemented with views of the historic villages, great conditioning and careful use of bunkers and water. A joy to play and test the very best. 

Allow time in the afternoon to experience the beautiful old towns such as Fayence, Tourettes and Callian. Enjoy dinner in Fayence

Day 11

Drive to Cannes for a 2 night’s stay. A glitzy celebrity spotting city, well known for its film festival. 

 

Day 12

A free day experience glamourous Cannes designer bars, coutore shops, palaces of the La Croisette and celebrity spot on the sunlounger-striped beaches. Preparing yourself for the journey home

 

 

Day 13

Depart home from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport
